The Seldovia Package is a spectacular land, air & sea adventure!  You’ll start with a 20-30 minute boat ride from Homer across Kachemak Bay to the dock in Jakolof Bay, where you will meet a land taxi for the 10-mile drive to the historic Alaskan fishing community of Seldovia. In Seldovia, you can shop, wander, hike, pick berries (if it’s berry season!), and take in the beauty of a small-town Alaskan fishing village. When you’re done, you’ll fly back to Homer on Smokey Bay Air and see incredible mountains and glaciers. Once you land at the Homer airport, a land taxi will take you back out to your car on the Homer Spit. This trip packs a lot into a half or a full day adventure, and makes for a truly memorable experience! $225 per person, includes all transportation.

Kachemak Bay is home to an outstanding seabird rookery (nesting site) with thousands of breeding pairs of many species, including Tufted and Horned Puffins, Common Murres, Black-legged Kittiwakes, Pigeon Guillemots, and many more.  We will get you up close and personal for the amazing sites, sounds (and smells!) of a vibrant, pulsing seabird colony.  The Gull Island Cruise is a bird watcher’s dream, but everyone in your group or family will love it!  And there will be plenty of sea otters along the way! 1-hour tour. $75 per person.

Come out for an authentic taste of Kachemak Bay with Mako’s Scenic & Wildlife Tour! Every day is different on Kachemak Bay, and our experienced captains will know where to go and what to look for to make your time on the water exciting, fun, and memorable. We’ll explore quiet coves and breathtaking fjords and look for otters, seals, dolphins, seabirds, and whales. We can even drop you off on a secluded beach for a snack or some beachcombing. We can’t promise we’ll see everything, but we can promise everyone in your family or group will have an amazing experience they won’t forget!  2 hour tour.
